The void was gone, but the galaxy had changed. Stars that had been consumed were reborn, brighter than before. Dr. Lena Martinez stood on the bridge of her command ship, watching the rebirth.

"The First Ones say the void's destruction has created a new energy source," Commander Reyes said. "They call it 'starfire.'"

Lena studied the holographic display. "Can we harness it?"

The First One appeared beside her. "Yes. But it requires a new kind of ship. One that can fly between dimensions."

"How long will it take to build?"

"Years. Decades. But we have time now."

Lena looked at Earth, blue and beautiful, floating in the darkness.

"Then let's start," she said.

The shipyards were built on the ocean floor, using the knowledge of the First Ones. Humans and aliens worked side by side, welding, coding, dreaming.

The first starfire ship launched on a sunny morning. Lena climbed aboard, her hands on the controls.

"Ready?" Reyes asked.

She smiled. "Ready."

The ship shot into the sky, faster than light, faster than thought. Stars blurred past.

"The future is ours," Lena whispered.

The universe was vast.

But now, they would explore it.

Together.

She touched the photograph of her family, tucked into her flight suit.

"I'll be home soon," she said.

The stars watched in silence.

A new chapter had begun.

And Lena Martinez was at the center of it all.

She flew toward the unknown, toward the future, toward the stars.

The ocean had given birth to a new world.

And she would be its guardian.

Always.
